Envision Career Consultancy LLP ("Envision", "we", "us") operates envisioncareer.in, providing admission counselling services for NEET UG/PG, JEE, MBA, Pharmacy, Law and MBBS Abroad from Mumbai, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.
2. Data we collect
- Contact details — name, phone number and e-mail address, when you request a callback, book a counselling session, or create an account.
- Academic details — exam, rank/score, category and preferences, when you use the AI Predictor or share them with a counsellor.
- Documents — files you choose to upload to your student dashboard.
- Technical data — an essential session cookie and basic, anonymous usage information (e.g. which tools were used).
3. How we use it
- To call you back, run your counselling sessions and manage your bookings.
- To generate college predictions and shortlists for your profile.
- To send you counselling and admission date alerts you have opted into.
- To improve our services using aggregate, anonymised usage statistics.
4. Cookies
We use one essential session cookie that keeps you logged in — the site cannot function without it. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Our cookie banner records your acknowledgement in your own browser's storage.
5. Storage & security
Your data is stored in our secured database. Passwords are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes. Uploaded documents are not directly accessible from the web and are served only to the logged-in account that owns them.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared only with our own counselling team, or where the law requires it. If applying to a college or university on your instruction requires sharing your details with that institution, we do so only for that purpose.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@envisioncareer.in. We respond within a reasonable period as required by applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Children
Our services are directed at students and their parents/guardians. For users under 18, we expect a parent or guardian to provide and consent to the use of personal data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
