About The Course

What BSMS actually is

BSMS covers the Siddha system: Maruthuvam (medicine), Gunapadam (pharmacology) and Varmam therapy, with modern anatomy and diagnostics — 4.5 years plus a 1-year internship. Most colleges are in Tamil Nadu, where Siddha practice is strongest.

Seats are allotted on NEET UG scores via AACCC (AIQ) and the state AYUSH counselling. Familiarity with Tamil helps clinically but is not an admission requirement everywhere.
