The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), UP is responsible for conducting the MBBS/BDS/AYUSH state quota admissions in 2026. State quota admissions represent 85% of all medical seats in the state, with the remaining 15% administered centrally by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the All India Quota (AIQ).

Uttar Pradesh Domicile Criteria:

For Govt seats: Passed 10th and 12th from UP, or parents must be UP residents holding domicile. For Private seats: Open to all candidates across India.
